If you’ve seen my previous post Set Sail With Condor Liberation, the accommodation we were hosted in during our stay in Jersey was The Merton Hotel part of the Seymour hotels group.
The hotel has around 300 rooms, and is situated in St Saviours, just outside of the main Jersey town, St Helier.
There’s a varied choice of 6 restaurants, bars/ cafe’s at the hotel, so you’ll be spoilt for choice. This includes the quirky Jersey Joe’s Diner which I loved!
Of course, we didn’t get to sample all the restaurants throughout the hotel as we had the rest of the island to explore but our breakfast buffet alone was enough to keep us going until a late lunch. With options of continental, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, cheese and meat, cereals, toast and a huge choice of hot food.
The pool was the highlight of my Toddlers stay. It is quite large, with an indoor pool flowing out doors to a larger pool area. There’s a slide that us adults got to enjoy too as my Toddler is a tad young for it – the slide seemed to open at random times, but the staff were happy to open it on our request.
There was also a little hot pool area, sauna, and some smaller slides for toddlers with a little pirate ship.
Overall, we had a great time at the Merton Hotel Jersey, it was a good choice for our mini break especially as a young family.
Yes there might be a few things I’d add or change, but as a 3* it exceeded my expectations and it was more than suitable for our needs.
