Kooties coveralls – review

Kooties coveralls – review

I first spotted Kooties over on Instagram some months ago, the product looked appealing so I had a snoop through their pictures and I was really keen to test one out.

When Kooties said they’ll send one over to us, I let the Toddler choose a design from the website. Of course, he wanted all of them but he managed to narrow it down to the red fire one. Maybe because Marshall from Paw Patrol and Fireman Sam are his current obsessions.

I love the concept behind these coveralls, combining role play into messy play, two of his favourite pass times. We took it away with us on the Toddlers first camping trip because there’s nothing worse than muddy clothes with stubborn grass stains and I wanted to see how well they would fare.

He loved pretending to put the charcoal fire out and he gave firefighters a whole new job description which including hammering and helping put the tent up. A child’s imagination is a wonderful thing.

I wasn’t too sure about them being non-machine washable, I was curious as to how long they’d last however it really depends on what they’re being used for. After our play, lightly hand washed worked well and I know we’ll get quite a few uses out of them as he’s not getting them fully messy.

The biggest bonus is that Kooties coveralls are made from recycled materials and can be recycled, good for the planet, stylish and they don’t break the bank. What’s not to love. ๐Ÿ™‚

Kooties coveralls come in four different designs;

Perfect for parties when the children can all act out different roles, the choices are; Police, Firefighter, paramedic, construction worker.

I will definitely be adding the rest to his collection soon.
