My little Glowbug 💙

Baby Glowbugs – Halesowen

Over the last few months, I’ve tried several different baby classes, with a mixture of sensory, signing, rythm time, stay & play, library groups, you name it.

This week I tried one that I stumbled across on netnums (as you do), it’s a fairly new one called ‘Baby Glowbugs’. I found the name quite appealing so decided to go for a taster.

I feel like I need to give this class the credit that it’s due, not only is it pretty to look at, it’s also very entertaining.  I was sold from the minute I walked in, I actually think I may have enjoyed the session as much as His Royal Highness did, if not more. 🙈

The hour long session is based in a darkened room with a variety of lights and activities including a little puppet show at the end. Half of the session consists of singing with glow in the dark or light props, with the other half allowing the babies to explore different sensory stations with a variety of themes.

What I also love is that although it is structured, it flows in a relaxed way , which makes a huge change from the usual baby classes.

We enjoyed it so much that we signed up for an additional 10 sessions. 😀

If you’re within reach of a class, I would highly recommend going for a taster. They currently run in Halesowen and Stourbridge with plans to branch out .

The pictures don’t do justice.

Do you have a favourite baby group or any that you’d recommend? I’m always on the look out for new ones to try and would love to hear about your experiences. 🙂
